Grotto Canyon is located about 15 minutes outside of Canmore near the town of Exshaw. Grotto Canyon is a wonderful leisurely walk trough a narrow canyon with a waterfall at the end. Spend a few hours enjoying navigating along the creek that runs through the canyon. In the summer getting a little wet and some stone jumping should be expected, winter it can be icy, best to bring micro spikes.

Three Sister’s Taxi will pick you up from wherever you are in Canmore and take you directly to the Grotto Canyon trail head. Please note, if you need return service (most cases) the full fare must be paid at the conclusion of the first trip. When you are ready to be picked up just give the driver or the main number a call as you exit the canyon and they will meet you at the trail head.
